Ross-on-Wye Walking Festival takes place 26th to 89th September 2025. This year sees the 50^th Anniversary of the Wye Valley Walk – and this year's Walking Festival is designed to be part of the celebration of that very special long distance trail and the river it takes its name from, with many walks taking in part of the trail or its vicinity.

Where possible we have also included some of our most accessible “Miles without Stiles” routes. If the 'Anniversary Walks' are too long, why not try out some of the shorter walks offered in the the Walking Festival Programme? There's everything from a 'Walk and Cruise the Wye', to a 2 mile Walk and Cream Tea, plus special interest walks to help you find out about this gorgeous area and meet local people.
