'Flow / Liff' Exhibition of paintings of the Wye by Lucy Burden at Chepstow Museum until June 9th 2026

There is a lovely backstory to 'Flow / Llif' - the exhibition currently on display at Chepstow Museum. Last year, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Wye Valley Walk, we led a linear ramble along its 138 miles. More than 100 people joined us, some dipping in and out of the 13 day walks, some completing the whole trail. Among them were artist Lucy Burden and amateur filmmaker Steve Bennett, and the rest, as they say, is history! For anyone who has walked sections of the Wye Valley Walk 'Flow' ('Liff' in Welsh) will transport you instantly back to the path and those quiet places and beautiful views.
The museum is open Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 11am to 4pm. Whilst you are there take a look at their amazing collection of paintings and prints of the Wye Valley, from the days of the Picturesque movement and The Wye Tour.
'Flow / Llif' runs until June 9th.
