Hand Ferry Symonds Yat
The hand ferry at Symonds Yat operates throughout the year (unless the river is in flood) on request at the Saracens Head Inn. It is an ancient crossing point, with a punt like vessel pulled across the river via an overhead steel rope. The ferry can carry people, pets and bicycles.
